Time For Dessert-Sub Zero Ice Cream

It seems that everyone in Provo loves ice cream, and there are hundreds of ice cream and frozen yogurt shops in Provo. So what sets Sub Zero apart from everyone else? Sub Zero Ice Cream provides a very unique dessert experience in the way that the ice cream is made; each serving is made from scratch right in front of you, and frozen using LIQUID NITROGEN!
Your serving of ice cream is made just how you want it, right when you order it. At Sub Zero Ice Cream, you design your own ice cream! First,You get to choose what kind of milk you want used to make your ice cream (your choices range all the way from yogurt, to custard, to 14%!). Next, you choose a flavor for your ice cream out of a long list that ranges from the classic flavors like chocolate, or if you are feeling more adventurous, you can try a flavor like Amaretto, or even Root Beer! You also get to choose what “mix-ins” you want in your ice cream, this includes things like candy bars, cookie dough, brownies, cookies, and everything else you could ever want to satisfy your sweet tooth! After all this decision making is through, you get to watch this mixture be frozen in a matter of seconds by liquid nitrogen! And last but not least…enjoy your frozen treat!
Sub Zero is very reasonably priced. The smallest size begins at $2.50, and as the sizes get bigger, the price goes up by about a dollar.
I enjoyed my experience at Sub Zero. Not only was it fun, but it was tasty as well!

Pizza Pie Cafe!

Do you like pizza? Then try the new Pizza Pie Café located at 2235 North University Parkway in Provo! Pizza Pie Cafe is a new addition to the Provo dining scene, but it is has already been made very popular by the multitude of college students living in Provo.

Price:To eat at the Pizza Pie Café everyone pays the same price: $7.53 for an all you can eat buffet of pasta, salad, dessert, and of course, every kind of pizza imaginable!! (My personal favorite is the peach cobbler dessert pizza)

Atmosphere: The Pizza Pie Café has a very fun and inviting atmosphere. It is definitely an attraction for college age customers, making it a great place to get together with friends! There are many televisions sets set up throughout the restaurant all broadcasting different sports games, making it a great place to go on game-day! Before entering the restaurant, I, like some of you may be as well, was skeptical of the quality of food I could get at a buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised! Pizza Pie cafe is not your run of the mill all you can eat buffet filled with old, flavorless food. All of the food hot and fresh, the buffet looked appetizing and was very well maintained by the employees, and everything tasted very good.

The only downside that I found to the Pizza Pie Café was the time that I waited for a table. Our group of seven waited for 20 minutes for a table, however, we chose to go at 7:00 on a Friday night, which is the busiest time of the week for going out.

The Pizza Pie Café is a tasty and inexpensive place to go for a casual and fun dining experience!

Rooster Dumpling and Noodle Bar

Today, I tried out my first new restaurant in Provo. I took my friends and we went to Rooster Dumpling and Noodle Bar. It is located at 163 North University Avenue, Provo, Ut. This small restaurant was has a very fun environment and good food! We ordered the Traditional Pork Dumplings, and the Bulgogi Beef dumplings. They were both delicious! They also had a large variety of Boba drinks, which are hard to come across in Provo! Their menu also includes a variety of different noodle dishes and desserts. The service there was very good, and we were served quickly. I enjoyed my experience at Rooster Dumpling and Noodle bar, and I would suggest it to anyone, and I plan on going back myself!

What is my blog all about?

As college students, eating is often the center of our social activities. We all love going out to eat, whether it is with friends, on a date, or just quickly picking something up when our busy schedules don’t leave us enough time to make our own meals. If you are like me, you have always heard from others that there are so many great places to go in Provo that are fun, inexpensive, and appetizing, but have never known where to go to find these places, so you stick with what you already know and like. However, I find that eating the same fast food hamburger and french-fries over and over gets old, and becomes unappetizing very quickly. So, I have decided to explore Provo and discover restaurants that I may have not known about, or thought of going to before (and that will not cost an entire paycheck) and share what I find with you!
